Equal Justice Works Paralegal Fellow

Two-year fellowship, 2018-2020. This project seeks a Paralegal Fellow to help our team respond to the overwhelming demand for services for immigrants in New Mexico, helping to overcome the barriers that geography and distance can pose to obtaining legal services.

Supervising Attorney

The Supervising Attorney will be responsible for supervision and management of the daily tasks associated with the provision of legal services. The Supervising Attorney will supervise a team of staff attorneys, paralegals, interns and volunteers and also maintain a caseload.

Victim Advocate

The Victim Advocate will be responsible for conducting advocacy activities, providing case management support services to immigrant victims of crime, and networking with community partners, agencies and law enforcement to enhance victims’ access to services enhancing safety and access to justice.

The Communications Director will be responsible for leading and formalizing the communications strategy and plan for a growing nonprofit.

Senior Attorney/Pro Bono Program Manager

The Senior Attorney/Pro Bono Program Manager will be responsible for the supervision and management of the volunteer legal services program and the implementation of a statewide and national strategy to support NMILC’s pro bono program. The Senior Attorney/Pro Bono Program Manager will supervise and mentor attorneys, paralegals, interns and volunteers and also maintain a caseload.

Our quarterly citizenship fairs are opportunities for volunteers to assist New Mexicans with their citizenship applications. Volunteers of all language abilities and experience are encouraged to help out!
