Since the rescission of DACA, federal judges have put forward injunctions that require the government to continue accepting DACA renewals, but it’s only temporary.
There is still a legal battle going on. The Supreme Court will be hearing oral arguments for and against the rescission of the DACA program by the Trump Administration on November 12th. A decision is expected to happen between April and June 2020.
For now, the government is ONLY accepting renewal applications. We encourage eligible DACA recipients to speak to an attorney and renew as soon as possible.
