Law Office Manager/Legal Assistant

The Law Office Manager/Legal Assistant will, under the direction of the Supervising Attorney, ensure that the legal office operations and systems run smoothly, are in compliance with ethical rules, and meet the needs, expectations, and deadlines of the staff and funders.

Equal Justice Works Paralegal Fellow 2019-2021

The Paralegal Fellow will assist with immigration law cases, gain experience in community networking and outreach, and assist with pro se clinics. This position is recommended for individuals from historically disadvantaged communities with aspirations to enter the legal field, develop their understanding of social justice, and be supporting and mentored throughout their law school application process.

Supervising Attorney

The Supervising Attorney will be responsible for supervision and management of the daily tasks associated with the provision of legal services. The Supervising Attorney will supervise a team of staff attorneys, paralegals, interns and volunteers and also maintain a caseload.

Contract Attorney

The Contract Attorney will provide direct representation on complex cases and training, technical assistance and mentorship to Staff Attorneys, paralegals, and volunteers. Frequent communication with the entire NMILC legal team and immigrant and advocacy organizations will be required. This is a one-year contract.

Citizenship Fair Volunteer

Our quarterly citizenship fairs are opportunities for volunteers to assist New Mexicans with their citizenship applications. Volunteers of all language abilities and experience are encouraged to help out!
