Originally from a small town in Chihuahua, Mexico. Cecilia immigrated to the U.S. when she was fifteen years old. As an immigrant herself, she relates to the immigrant community and the struggles that they face in order to create a better future for their families and themselves. For that reason, she decided to join NMILC. She hopes to learn as much as she can about immigration to apply that knowledge and help immigrants and their families overcome the barrier that immigration can be. Outside of work, Cecilia enjoys spending time with her family and dogs.
