Christy joined NMILC in May 2018. Born and raised in Albuquerque, Christy loves New Mexico and is committed to working towards human rights and social justice in her home state. She completed an MA in Spanish and Latin American Studies at American University in 2014, and prior to joining NMILC, worked with Spanish-speaking immigrant communities in Albuquerque at East Central Ministries. Christy enjoys working in her garden, crossword puzzles, and geeking about Lord of the Rings.
