Celebrate National Pro Bono Week

This week, October 25-31, begins the celebration of the National Pro Bono Week, which provides an opportunity for us to express our sincere gratitude to the many pro bono professionals who so generously donate their time and expertise to support the New Mexico Immigrant Law Center. Despite this extraordinarily challenging time, pro bono professionals have continued to support our work and programs, helping us remotely to provide services free of cost to New Mexico's immigrant communities.  Accordingly, the theme for NMILC’s 2020 National Pro Bono Week is, “Rising to Meet the Challenge: Pro Bonos Respond to COVID-19.”

Did you know?

We are also in need of licensed interpreters and licensed translators, and welcome other professionals whose skills benefit our community.

If you are a licensed attorney, medical provider, translator, or interpreter, we need you!

Each day this week we will feature one of the many extraordinary pro bono professionals, who have been nominated by our staff from our various programs, on our social media. We are so grateful to each and every pro bono who lends their time and expertise to serve the immigrant community. We simply could not do this work without your help and support. We are all stronger together!
