Norma immigrated to the U.S. when she was four years old from Chihuahua, Mexico. When she turned 16, her parents decided to stay in the country. Norma says she desires to help the immigrant community as much as possible, and sought out employment with NMILC in order to learn more about immigration processes, such as DACA renewals, green cards, and citizenship applications. Outside of her work with NMILC, Norma loves to spend time with her family.
