This year we decided to highlight pro bono professionals from our different programs and teams to show the range of variety in pro bono opportunities.

NMILC has been successful in establishing innovative and successful pro bono partnership models that make collaboration easier and an overall better experience for all involved. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the immigration court system.

The fight to end MPP is facing a major setback. In compliance with a federal court order, implementation of the xenophobic Trump-era program has gone back into effect.

This month we are honored to feature Susan Miller Bisong in our Volunteer Spotlight.

The fight continues to end the xenophobic Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), better known as the “Remain In Mexico” policy.

The conference is part of the State Bar’s Center for Legal Education, is a non-profit New Mexico accredited CLE course provider dedicated to providing high quality, affordable educational programs to the legal community.
